What are the best ways to permanently store old iPhone videos and photos of a loved one?

I lost my mom a couple of years ago, and I have some special footage from her funeral that I recorded on my iPhone 15, along with various photos and videos of her from before she passed—some in 4k. Unfortunately, these files are taking up all the space on my phone and even my iCloud backup is full, so my phone isn't backing up anymore. I'd like to ensure my toddler daughter (who never met her) can see these memories when she's older. I don't want to pay for extra cloud storage, and while I've backed some files up to my PC, I'm looking for a more permanent solution for long-term storage. Ideally, I want something physical that I can store away and revisit occasionally. Any suggestions?

You might want to consider using optical media like DVDs or Blu-ray discs. They're good for long-term storage, and you can make multiple copies to keep in different places, like a safety deposit box. Just remember to copy your files to new discs every few years to prevent degradation. It'd also be wise to use Mylar sleeves for the discs instead of placing them in standard albums to protect them. Plus, software is available to help you downscale your 4K videos if needed. It's a bit of an investment but worth it for those precious memories!
