I'm eager to learn how to use Linux, but I don't have a spare computer to install it on. Are there any safe virtual machines or other methods I can use to try out different Linux distros without having to install them directly on my Windows 11 machine?

VirtualBox is a great option. It's free and allows you to run Linux as a guest OS on Windows. Just remember, you’ll need to install VirtualBox first, and then load your Linux distro within that. It supports most Intel-based operating systems, so you’re good to go as long as you avoid really niche ones like Android or Raspbian.

For clarity, you install VirtualBox on your Windows and then add a Linux guest OS on top of it. It's pretty straightforward!
