Hey everyone! I'm looking to understand the specific differences between Claude Desktop, especially when it comes to using MCPs like filesystems, and Claude Code. Also, I heard there's a new $100 Max plan. Does that include access to Claude Code?

The new update for Claude Desktop is definitely a game changer! It feels much smoother now since you don't have to keep approving commands. It just enhances the whole user experience.
This seems to be a hot topic lately! I’ve really dived into Claude Desktop Pro with codemcp and other MCP servers, and I switched to the $100 Max plan which gives access to Claude Code. Honestly, once you try Claude Code, there's no going back. I used to get super frustrated hitting chat limits on Claude Desktop, so I had to constantly create new short chats just to keep going. The commands on Claude Desktop needed to be hardcoded, which was a hassle. Claude Code is much more user-friendly—you get prompted for commands and can choose to skip future prompts. It's really streamlined! For anyone considering this, I strongly recommend trying it out with Claude Squad for an even better experience.
I totally agree! I love that I can SSH into my computer and access Claude Code with Termux. Using MCPs on my phone was a no-go with Claude Desktop.
Also, I work with a lot of project files, so I'm curious if Claude Code can easily integrate into those workflows or if I need to switch everything to claude.md files.
