What Books and Resources Can Help Improve My Software Development Skills?

I'm looking to boost my resume with relevant skills since I didn't have the opportunity for internships while in college. I specialize in Java programming and have dabbled in full-stack development through a Udemy course, but I feel like my skills have stagnated. I recently earned my Network+ certification too. I'm specifically interested in software and web development resources, especially those that include projects to practice and enhance my abilities. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Working on live projects and contributing to open-source is great for building your skills. Instead of just reading, find a project that excites you and dive in. You'll naturally discover the gaps in your knowledge and then know what to study next.

Since you're already into Java and full-stack, consider learning technologies like React, Node.js, MySQL, or MongoDB. Check out Amazon or online platforms like Coursera and Udemy for books and courses focused on projects. Follow along with the project steps and see how they are built. YouTube also has a ton of tutorials for creating projects from start to finish.
