I'm trying to connect my AMD 9070XT graphics card to an LG TV to achieve 4K at 120Hz with Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) without using Windows. I'm running Bazzite as my operating system. I didn't want to pay an additional $300 for a 5070Ti upgrade, especially since I'm transitioning to Linux. However, I've heard that there are issues with HDMI Forum restrictions on AMD cards and I am looking for alternative solutions that don't involve Windows. Does anyone know of a suitable cable or workaround?

You might want to try a DisplayPort to HDMI cable! It’s a common solution for getting higher refresh rates. Just check if your GPU supports it, especially since DisplayPort 2.1 could make it work if you have the right adapter or cable.
If you go with DisplayPort 2.1, just make sure to get an active adapter—that might be necessary too!
