Hey everyone! I've been told that motherboards usually have a limited number of USB-C ports, so I'm thinking about getting a USB-C hub. But I'm curious about what exactly I can plug into it. I know it might be slower than connecting directly to my PC. Someone suggested that I should keep my mouse connected to the motherboard, but what about other devices like microphones, IEMs, or speakers?

You can actually connect pretty much anything to a USB-C hub! Just keep in mind that if you plug in a lot of devices that use a lot of bandwidth at the same time, it might slow things down. But for general use, like with a mouse, microphone, speakers, or IEMs, you should be just fine. Just watch out for high-speed devices like external SSDs when you're using multiple peripherals!
You can find affordable USB-C to USB-A adapters for things like a keyboard, mouse, or speakers that don't need a lot of bandwidth. They work great!
What kind of problems are you trying to solve with the hub? Knowing that can help figure out what devices you should connect!
I just have too many USB-C devices and not enough ports to connect them all!
What about if I want to use a mouse, microphone, speakers, and IEMs simultaneously? Could that cause any latency issues? Should I consider other options?
