I've got a Mac desktop from 2014 that's pretty outdated. It struggles with web browsing since some websites just don't work on it anymore. I'm looking for some creative ways to repurpose it or give it new life. Any suggestions?

You could install Linux on it! Zorin is a great choice since it can be set up to look like a Mac interface if you prefer that aesthetic. It's an effective way to breathe new life into older hardware.
Does that mean I can install another OS like Windows 7 on it too? I used to have Windows on mine and it was partitioned with 1TB storage. But would Linux work well on it without being outdated?
