I'm a 23-year-old guy with a degree in Computer Science and some solid experience under my belt. Right now, I'm earning significantly more than juniors and even outpacing many seniors in my area, but I'm struggling to find a sponsorship that would let me move to a country where I can earn a decent living while gaining more experience. My ultimate goal is to secure a job in places like North America, Australia, or the EU. I know moving to the EU might mean lower pay compared to what I'm currently making, but it would still be more than the full-time salaries around here, and I'm eager to advance my career in a more traditional office setting rather than just contracting.
I'm looking for advice on whether I should pursue a career in DevOps or focus on being a backend developer. I want to know what certifications I should consider to make myself more hireable. Should I also think about getting a master's degree? Time is of the essence as I need to leave this situation ASAP because the options here offer either low salaries or limited career advancement.

The best qualification comes from life experiences—the 'school of hard knocks'.
If you're aiming for opportunities in North America, Australia, or the EU, I recommend certifications like AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Docker Certified Associate, or Kubernetes Administrator for DevOps roles. If you're leaning more toward backend, check out the Oracle Java Certification or the Python PCEP. While a master's degree can be beneficial, it’s not essential if you have a strong portfolio and relevant certifications. Don't forget to network on platforms like LinkedIn; it can definitely open up new job prospects!
Thank you! I appreciate your input!
Do you have any insights on job opportunities in the Middle East? Thanks!
To be honest, your writing style makes you come off as inexperienced and a bit immature. Focus less on certifications and more on your attitude—that could be the biggest barrier for you. Just a suggestion.
I appreciate your feedback. I try to be respectful to those who are nice to me, but I understand how I come across. Thanks for putting it kindly!
Should I just put that on my resume? How would I format it? I'm sure you could provide some clever suggestions!
