I'm curious if anyone knows what type of CMOS battery is compatible with the x870e Nova motherboard. I haven't been able to find specific information about it. Any insights would be appreciated!

Yup, seems like CR2032 is the go-to for that motherboard. It's good to know you're looking into reliable brands—I’ve heard Toshiba's batteries are pretty dependable right now!
You should check the motherboard itself or look in the manual; both will tell you the battery type. Typically, it's the same as most other motherboards too. By the way, you probably won't need to replace the CMOS battery on an x870E board just yet since they haven't been around long enough for that to happen.
RTFM! Seriously, always check your manual first for these things!
The x870e Nova uses a CR2032 battery. It's actually the most common type for motherboards, so you'll find it used quite often!
Thanks for clarifying! I think the one that came with my board was defective.
Much appreciated! I definitely want to go with some good quality to avoid issues.
