I'm trying to figure out the purpose of a connector on my ThinkPad P52s. The left side has a standard USB-C port, but I'm unsure about the right side connector. I couldn't find any information in Lenovo's technical specifications. Can anyone help me identify it?

That connector is actually for Ethernet extension. You'll need an adapter to make it work. It's not exclusive to just your notebook, but many models from that generation have it. You can check the port specifications for more details.

That's interesting! But isn't there also a standard Ethernet port on this laptop too?
