What CPU and GPU Should I Choose for 240 FPS in Fortnite?

I'm looking to build a PC that can deliver stable 240+ FPS in Fortnite since I'm a semi-pro player. I have a 240Hz monitor and am comfortable with 16GB of RAM. I'd prefer an AM5 build, but I'm unsure about which CPU and GPU to go for that would meet these performance goals.

For great performance, consider going with a 7800X3D CPU paired with either a 3080 GPU or even better, a 5070 or 9070. The 7800X3D can help you hit close to 240FPS at 1440p on low settings, so at 1080p, you should have no problem achieving your goal! Make sure to check out GPU benchmarks on YouTube for some real-world insights.

You definitely want to keep track of your budget before making a decision. It's tough to suggest parts without knowing how much you're willing to spend. For solid performance, aim for at least a 7800X3D or a 9800X3D for the CPU, depending on your budget. Just factor in that good GPUs can be pricey.

If you're balancing a budget, check in with a community like the one on the buildapc forums. They can help you structure your build based on what you can afford and still manage 240 FPS. Also, if you're located in Australia, that might affect pricing and availability.
