What CPU should I pair with a 5060 GPU on a budget?

I'm planning to build my first PC soon since I've been using a pretty old laptop for ages. My budget is limited, but I think the 5060 is a great GPU for the price. I'm looking for a CPU that won't break the bank but still allows the GPU to perform well without bottlenecking it. Any recommendations?

You might want to consider the 9060 XT 8GB instead of the 5060; it performs better. If you're in the US, there’s a solid build for $1068 that includes a 9600X CPU, WiFi, 32GB RAM, a 2TB SSD, and the 9060 XT 16GB. Just watch out for the PSU rating.

For a good balance with your 5060, I'd recommend the Ryzen 5 7400F or 7500F. If those are too pricey, the 8400F is a decent option around 90€. Honestly, go for the 7500F; it's easier to find and offers better performance compared to the others.

If you’re looking for raw power, the R5 7600X is a fantastic choice. I’m using that setup right now with great results!

Before suggesting anything, what's your overall budget for the build, including the GPU? It’d help narrow down the options.
