I'm just starting out and need some recommendations for a CPU that would go well with the RX 9060 XT. I haven't purchased either yet, and I'm open to modifying them if needed. I was considering the AMD Ryzen 5 9600X, but I'm worried it might bottleneck with the GPU.

The Ryzen 5 9600X is a solid choice! It pairs nicely with a variety of GPUs, including the RX 9060 XT, especially if you're gaming at higher resolutions or playing graphically intensive games. It was a popular combo before DDR5 prices spiked, and if you already have some RAM or find a good deal, it’s still a fantastic option.
I’m thinking of waiting until Christmas to get everything, so right now I only have the SSD. Hopefully, RAM prices drop by then.
