I woke up today to find my system won't post, and after testing some parts, I've pinpointed the issue to the CPU—it's dead. I'm planning to RMA it and sell whatever replacement comes back. However, I need to buy something today at Micro Center. Would the 14600K be a good replacement? I'm using this system for about 70% productivity work and 30% gaming. Just to note, my system was running the latest Asus BIOS, so I'm hoping I won't have issues with a different CPU.

I’d recommend going for the RMA. I got my new 14600KF back in a week, and it’s been solid since.
Before you commit to anything, try reseating your cooler and applying fresh thermal paste. Always best to check the simple stuff first! Plus, it’s a good time to consider an upgrade if you're thinking about it.
Curious, what parts did you swap out? How did you confirm that the CPU was the real issue?
If you decide to go with a new CPU, definitely undervolt it as soon as you can. It's become essential with the latest Intel and powerful Nvidia chips.
The 14600K is also a solid choice if you’re looking to replace the 13600K. You won't be disappointed!
First things first, if you get a replacement, make sure to update the BIOS right away, or you might end up with the same problem. Better safe than sorry!
Good point! It’s already on the latest version, though.

I tested with a spare i3 12th gen CPU, and it booted right up without any problems.
