I'm gearing up for a PC cooling upgrade and need some advice. I'll be installing a total of 9 fans, which includes the 3 fans that come with my Hydroshift II 360 AIO cooler. Here's my planned setup:
- Hydroshift II 360 AIO (3 fans included)
- SL V2 120 Reverse ×3
- SL120 V2 ×1
- SL-Infinity 140 Reverse ×2
I know there are 140 mm SL V2 fans available, but Lian Li doesn't offer a reverse-blade version in that size. These 140 mm fans will serve as intakes in my H6 Flow case, which may require some modifications for proper fit. If the reverse-blade 140s don't fit well, I'm open to switching to the regular V2 140s.
What kind of controllers or hubs should I purchase to simplify installation and cable management? Is there anything else I should consider adding to my shopping list?

To control those fans, you'll likely need a Lian Li hub that connects via USB. Just keep in mind that I’m not sure if the SL-Infinity fans and SL V2s are compatible with the same hub, so check that out!
These fans daisy chain together, so it really depends on how many ARGB headers your motherboard has. If you need more ports, that could be a factor.
I have an MSI B550 motherboard. I don't think it has many ARGB ports, but it has a 4-pin cable option. Would that be sufficient?

Do you think it’d be better to stick with all Infinity fans? It might make it easier to manage everything with just one type of hub.
