What do red and yellow lights on my motherboard mean?

I'm having an issue with my computer where it shows red and yellow lights every time I try to boot it up. It usually takes several attempts before it finally boots up normally. At first, I thought it might be some BIOS settings, so I made sure to use the EXPO setting for my RAM. I've also double-checked that my CPU is seated correctly and even swapped out the RAM sticks, but nothing seems to help. I plan to reset the CMOS next to see if that resolves the problem. Just to give you some specs, I'm using an AMD 7800X3D processor, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 4070Ti Super on an MSI B650 Carbon Gaming WiFi motherboard.

You should check your motherboard manual or the manufacturer’s website for the light codes. Those lights usually indicate which hardware might be having problems. Let us know what you find out!

Yeah, red lights typically mean there's an issue with the CPU, and yellow generally points to a problem with the RAM. I use T-Force DDR5 RAM at 6400MHz, and I’ve heard that mixing 6000MHz with the AMD 7000 series can cause issues too.

I’ve also reset the CMOS and made sure the CPU is in properly, but I'm still puzzled about what's going wrong.
