I'm looking to build a budget-friendly PC that can handle 1080p gaming without breaking the bank. My target is around $500. I have my eyes on a used Arc A580 8GB for the GPU, but I'm still figuring out the rest. Here's the link to my current build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/xLQhNz. Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated, especially since I'm relatively new to this!

For your build, consider an AM4 CPU like the Ryzen 5 3600 or 5500 for the A580. You can save on a CPU cooler since AMD typically includes a decent one. A 550w 80+ Bronze PSU from a reliable brand, plus 16GB of dual-channel memory and at least 500GB of storage sounds good. This could put you slightly over budget unless you snag the GPU and CPU used. The Cooler Master Q300L is a solid case for about $40, and either an A520M or B450M motherboard will serve you well.
If you're open to used parts, you might want to snag a GPU like the RX 6600 XT or a 6650 XT. Check your local market prices—I found a good used 6600 XT for around $180. As for CPUs, the Ryzen 5600 is a decent option that's not too pricey and would perform better than the 5500. Just choose based on pricing.
I'm definitely interested in the used parts route! Any parts you think I should avoid buying used, aside from the PSU?
This is super helpful, thanks!
