Hey everyone! I'm looking to get your thoughts on my upcoming PC build before I make the purchase. I'm based in Poland and want to ensure everything is up to par. Here's what I've got planned:

**Monitor**: Acer Nitro XZ323QUX2, 31.5", 2560x1440, 240 Hz, 1 ms, curved
**CPU**: Intel Core i7-14700F
**GPU**: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4070 Super Windforce OC 12 GB
**Motherboard**: MSI MAG B760 Tomahawk WiFi
**RAM**: Kingston Fury Beast Black XMP 32 GB (2x16 GB) 6000 MHz
**SSD #1**: Kingston KC3000 512 GB M.2 PCIe NVMe
**SSD #2**: Kingston KC3000 1 TB M.2 PCIe NVMe
**CPU Cooler**: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE
**Case**: be quiet! Pure Base 500 FX
**PSU**: be quiet! Pure Power 12 750 W, 80 Plus Gold

I'd love to hear your opinions and any suggestions you might have!

I'd seriously consider switching to an AMD CPU. Those 13th and 14th gen Intel CPUs have been known to have issues. I know someone who's had constant problems and ended up spending loads trying to fix it.

I appreciate the insights! Would the AMD CPUs be good for multitasking and video editing as well?

Definitely, they perform well in those areas too!

I'd avoid the LGA 1700 platform if I were you. And honestly, the RTX 40 series has been out of production for a while, so the 4070 Super might be overpriced. Just a heads up!

In Poland, the 40 series is still available and seems reasonably priced. The 4070 Super is about 2800 PLN ($767) here. Any suggestions for alternatives to the LGA 1700 platform? I plan to use this primarily for video editing and gaming like Battlefield and Forza, aiming for 240 fps.

I didn't know the RX 40 was discontinued. I'm considering switching to the 50 series now; any recommendation on which card would be better?

If you're gaming, switching to an AMD CPU and graphics might be worthwhile. I'd also suggest getting a single larger SSD instead of two smaller ones to save on costs for the PSU and case.

What’s your budget for this build?

RandomUser2023 -

I'm looking to stay under 8000 PLN, which is about $2200.

Update: I've switched my SSDs to one Kingston KC3000 2TB M.2 PCIe NVMe as it was cheaper than buying two. Also, I'm changing from the be quiet! case to a FRACTAL DESIGN Pop Air RGB, which only has one fan less but is cheaper. Just to clarify, I'm using this PC for both gaming (aiming for 240 fps) and multitasking for school and editing. So I feel the Intel and RTX combo is necessary.

This is a solid build for a gaming workstation! The AM5 platform is premium, and while many gamers go for something like the AMD 7600 with an AMD GPU, keep in mind that it might not perform as well outside of gaming. The KC3000 SSD you have is great for endurance, which suits a workstation, but a 2TB SSD would be smarter than two smaller ones if you want better management.

Could you explain why AMD might be better for gaming? I'm not super tech-savvy.

HelpfulHank -

I do a lot of multitasking, school projects, and video editing, so an Intel might be more suitable for me.
