I'm looking for a way to personalize my Linux experience and was wondering if EndeavourOS has anything special compared to Arch Linux. I attempted to set up Arch with maximum customization but ended up frustrated after risking an installation for hours. After hitting a wall with an error regarding accessing the console as a locked root user, I'm now considering if using Endeavour with Hyprland might be the better route for me.

EndeavourOS gives you Arch with some pre-configured settings and an installer, making it a bit easier to get started compared to a pure Arch install. You can still achieve the same level of customization, so you’re not missing out on much.
Before diving into heavy customizations, it's good to build a solid foundation with Linux. Start by mastering the basics; the bigger your understanding, the smoother your ricing journey will be. I think Endeavour is a great choice for you to begin with.

That's good to hear! I guess it will help me get the hang of things without the initial setup hassle.
