I've been trying to customize my system with max ricing and after spending around 8 hours installing Arch, I ended up frustrated with an error about console access being locked in emergency mode. Now I'm considering switching to EndeavourOS with Hyprland. Is there anything that EndeavourOS doesn't offer compared to Arch when it comes to customization?

EndeavourOS has a smooth installation process, but you'll find a lot of the same functionalities as Arch. It's just less daunting for new users.
EndeavourOS is perfect for those who want an easier installation while still having access to extensive customization like Arch. I made the switch from Windows, and I've loved it ever since!
EndeavourOS is essentially Arch with some additional basic settings and an installer. You can achieve the same level of ricing you could on Arch, just with an easier setup.
No matter what distro you're using, it's all Linux under the hood. You can rice on any of them. If you like EndeavourOS, go for it!
Before you dive into max ricing, it might be good to build up some Linux experience. Jumping in without fully understanding could lead to issues. But yeah, EndeavourOS is a solid choice for your situation.
