I recently noticed that my BIOS shows the processor speed as 5200MHz. I have an Intel 265k, which has a maximum turbo frequency of 5500MHz and a base frequency of 3900MHz. I'm trying to figure out why it's displaying 5200MHz. Can anyone help clarify what this means?

Could it be you're mistaking it for the RAM speed? That was my first thought too, but I checked and that doesn't seem to be the case.
What you're seeing is likely the Max Turbo frequency that the processor can reach, alongside the Base Core frequency.
But isn't the max turbo supposed to be 5500MHz according to Intel?
That 5200MHz might be the current operating speed. Is it fluctuating at all?
Nope, it stays at 5200MHz constantly.

Haha, that was my first guess too, but I made sure it's not that!
