I just got a message from Norton Antivirus saying there's an attack in my network, and it mentioned something about a weird device using ARP falsification. I'm really confused by all this tech jargon, and I need help understanding what this means and what I should do about it.

First off, do you actually have Norton Antivirus installed? Sometimes you might get a fake notification that's pretending to be from Norton. It could be a browser pop-up that you've allowed, which can look real but isn't actually related to your antivirus.

I didn't install Norton myself, but I noticed that it appeared on my computer about three days ago! I have no idea how that happened.

It sounds like you might need to check your computer for malware. If you didn’t install it yourself and it’s behaving oddly, that can be a sign. Also, be cautious if you have Avast installed; some people say it can act like malware itself.

I definitely didn't install Avast, but it's on my computer. Is it possible it's stealing my information? I really don't know much about this stuff!
