I just picked up a working 1080 Ti for $47, and I'm super excited! Here's my current setup: a Ryzen 5 7600X, B650M motherboard, 1TB HP SSD, PA120SE cooler, a Lian Li A3 case, and a 750W gold power supply (though I wish I had gotten a modular one). I've also got 32GB of DDR5 Vengeance RAM at 6000 MHz. Once it arrives, I'm curious—what kind of FPS can I expect while playing Microsoft Flight Simulator? Does anyone here have a similar build?

If you're playing at 1080p, I’d estimate you'll be getting around 50-60 FPS, but just keep in mind you might want to upgrade that GPU sooner rather than later. Your system is pretty overkill for a 1080 Ti right now!
You've got a solid rig with great potential for upgrades, especially with the GPU. While I can't pinpoint the exact FPS for Flight Sim, your setup should handle most games at 1080p really well—just steer clear of titles that require ray tracing, like Indiana Jones.
You can expect your 1080 Ti to perform on par with an RTX 3060, minus the ray tracing. Check out some benchmarks for that card to get an idea of performance in Microsoft Flight Simulator and see how it stacks up against what you might find for the 1080 Ti specifically.
Haha, I feel you on the budget struggle!
