I'm looking to upgrade my current graphics card, which is an RX 580. I have about $300 saved up and I play games like Rust, Rainbow Six Siege, Minecraft, CS:GO, and Warzone. My CPU is a Ryzen 7 3700X, and that's about all I know regarding my PC specs. Can anyone recommend a good GPU for 1080p gaming within my budget?

If you don't mind the used market, you might find a 3070 Ti for around $250, which is still a powerhouse. The 6700 XT is also a great option if you want more VRAM.

If you're only looking at brand new options around $300, the RX 9060 XT 8 GB is your best bet. For about $400, the RX 9060 XT 16 GB comes highly recommended, especially since you have the Ryzen 7 3700X. Just make sure your power supply can handle these GPUs!

Good point! A solid PSU is essential for keeping everything running smoothly.

For a new option, you could consider the RTX 5060 for about $300. However, if you can go to $380, the RX 9060 XT 16 GB is a major upgrade and will last longer. If you prefer used, an RX 6800 can often be found for about $300 on eBay, which would be a solid step up from your RX 580!

For a new GPU under $300, I'd suggest going with the RX 9060 XT 8 GB. If you can stretch your budget to around $350, the 16 GB version is worthwhile since it offers double the VRAM, which is becoming pretty important for new games.

Yeah, that extra VRAM will definitely help with future games for sure.

If you're really set on that $300 cap, you might want to check out the Intel Arc B580. It's about 10% slower than the 9060 XT but has more VRAM and is usually priced around $260. You could save some cash for other upgrades with that decision.

Smart idea! Saving a little can help for future enhancements.
