I've just scored an i9-14900K and NZXT N7 Z790 with 64GB of Kingston FURY DDR5 and I'm ready to build a new PC! It's been 15 years since my last build, so I'm a bit lost on current hardware. Most of my gaming involves less demanding titles like RimWorld and Stellaris, but I do enjoy some Fall Guys and Rocket League. I'm hoping to spend no more than £300 on a GPU that fits well with my setup. Any recommendations? Just to clarify, the £300 is only for the GPU; the rest of the components are covered. Also, I'll be using my old 24" Samsung monitors. I'd appreciate any advice, but I'm especially confused about which GPU to choose.

Check out the Sapphire PULSE Radeon RX 9060 XT. It's a solid choice right under £320, and it performs well for your gaming needs. You could also look at the B580 if you're open to Intel, but I hear the RX 9060 XT generally gets better reviews for its price range. If you're committed to Nvidia, the 3060 with 12GB might be another option to consider too!
Given the current market, it’s tough to find a solid GPU for just £300 that won’t skimp on performance. In my view, keep an eye on the used market too; sometimes you can find better deals there. Also, remember that while your monitors are functional, when you get a chance, upgrading to a 27" 1440p IPS display would enhance your experience significantly!
For under £300, the RX 7600 XT is another decent pick, but just be aware it's a little weaker on raster performance. If you're okay with going slightly over, that 9060 XT is definitely worth it since it's newer tech and gives you 16GB of performance, which could be better in the long run!
I’ve heard mixed reviews about the B580 regarding drivers. That’s been a concern for some users, so if driver issues are a turn-off, maybe stick to something more reliable.
