I'm building my first PC and I'm a bit lost when it comes to choosing a GPU. I'm considering a few options: the RX 7600 Gaming OC with 8GB VRAM, the RX 7600 XT with 16GB VRAM, the RX 9060 XT with 8GB VRAM, or maybe some NVIDIA models. I plan to play games at 1080p. Any advice on which one to choose?

Honestly, if you're looking to save some cash, consider a used 6700 XT. It can offer good performance for half the cost of newer 8GB cards. Plus, it’s a solid performer at 1080p.

I recommend getting the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti with 16GB if you can stretch your budget a bit. It's well-suited for 1080p gaming and future-proof.

If those are your main options, go for the RX 9060 XT with 16GB. If you can afford it, this GPU will serve you well in the long run.

You should definitely avoid buying an 8GB VRAM GPU, especially in 2025. It's becoming the minimum requirement for new games. What's your budget? If it's around 350€, the 9060 XT 16GB is a solid choice just under that. You might also find a used 7700 XT for around 300€ which offers similar performance but can be less efficient. For a budget option, the Intel B580 is under 300€ and has 12GB VRAM, but it has some performance limitations and less optimization in games.

Make sure to balance your CPU and GPU when building your PC! At 1080p, your CPU handles a lot of the workload, so don't neglect it. Check out some guides for matching the right components together for a smoother gaming experience!
