I'm currently using a 3060 8GB graphics card, and I'm trying to build a PC that can handle competitive gaming at 1080p with high frame rates, ideally around 240 FPS. I bought the PC for $550 without a GPU and this card was part of the deal. I understand that a bottleneck can occur, so I'm curious about which graphics card would pair well with my Ryzen 7 7700X to hit those frame rates without any issues. By the way, the PSU is an EVGA SUPERNOVA 1300 80 Plus Gold, so power isn't a concern.

What’s your budget for the GPU? That’ll really help narrow down your options. You mentioned around $350, right?
The Ryzen 7 7700X is a solid choice, and it should work well with most modern GPUs at 1080p. If you're aiming for competitive gaming at 240 FPS, you might want to consider the best GPU you can get within your budget. Look at options like the 6600 XT or even used models for something like the 3060 Ti. They should provide great performance!
For competitive gaming at 1080p, the 7700X can keep up with most cards pretty well. If you can find something around $300 or a bit more, look for a used 6700 XT or even a new 5060 series card. These should get you the desired frame rates without bottlenecking.
Thanks for the suggestions! I’ll check those out.

Yeah, that's about what I'm thinking! What GPUs would fit that range?
