I'm planning to buy a second-hand motherboard and I'm curious about what happens if I connect all my functioning components like the CPU, RAM, PSU, and SSD to it without testing the motherboard first. Is there a risk of damaging any of my parts? I'd appreciate any advice or experiences on this. Thanks!

When you connect everything, it’ll either successfully post or it won’t. Most likely, it won't damage your components unless there’s a specific fault with the motherboard itself.
So, there's no chance of damaging things like the CPU or RAM, right?
