Hey everyone, I stumbled upon a file on my C drive named 48C4687D-9760-4F5B-BAB3-60351B0841E4. It's completely empty but was updated just a few minutes ago. I'm not very tech-savvy and I've been visiting some sketchy movie sites lately, which makes me a bit paranoid that it could be a virus. I did run a virus scan with a free program and it claimed everything is fine, but I'm not sure if it was thorough enough. Any insight would be greatly appreciated! Here are my system specs:
Processor: 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1255U (1.70 GHz)
Installed RAM: 16.0 GB (15.7 GB usable)
System type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor.

It sounds likely that the file could be a restoration point or some sort of backup file created by Windows. Most users don’t notice it unless they're digging deep into the system files. You probably don’t need to worry about it—it’s probably harmless. Just out of curiosity, when was the file created?
Don't stress too much! It's pretty tough to get a virus just from visiting a website nowadays. This particular folder has been reported to be generated by Bitdefender for temporary files, and the fact that it's empty means it’s not doing anything harmful. Windows also has its built-in antivirus, which should alert you if anything suspicious pops up. If you're still uneasy, a full scan couldn't hurt!

Thank you!! This makes me feel a lot better lol
