For beginners, I wouldn't jump straight into programming unless you're absolutely sure that’s the direction you want to head in. Consider looking at entry-level IT service desk roles. Research job postings to understand the qualifications required and pursue those if you want a quicker entry into the IT field.
Instead of fixating on a specific programming language, think about which area of IT piques your interest. For example, if you want to explore things like robotics, Java might not be your best choice. But on the flip side, Java has a vast job market across Europe, so it could still be a solid starting point for you!
