I'm having trouble identifying a cable that's attached to the front of my Ceres 300 TG case. I can't find a matching connector on my MSI X570 motherboard. Can anyone help me figure out what this cable is for?

That cable is likely a USB-C front panel connector. Just a heads up, it seems like your motherboard doesn’t support it, as it usually only has USB 2.0 and 3.2 ports.

Yeah, I checked the specs too. Your motherboard's details confirm there’s no USB-C header, so you might need a converter if you want to use that port.

For the USB-C connection, you'd need a converter since your motherboard lacks the native support. Just a warning though, the speeds won't be as high as plugging it directly into a supported port.

It’s for the USB-C port on your case. Older motherboards like yours often didn’t include that header, so it's possible you won't be able to use it directly.

Looks like it could be a Micro SATA or a USB connection. Does it connect to the front where you have your other connectors?
