What lightweight web technology should I use for a simple site update?

Hey there! I've managed a website for a local business, initially built with Angular due to its extensive functionality at the start. Over time, most of that functionality shifted to dedicated web apps, and now my site feels more like a 'static website.' I need to make a minor change, but I'm stuck on Angular 9 and can't compile it anymore. The update process looks quite challenging (thanks, Angular Material!). I'm looking to invest some time learning a new, lightweight framework that still allows me to create reusable components, since I don't want to go fully static and end up duplicating the menu, header, and footer on every page. I'm using Firebase for authentication and simple content management. What tech recommendations do you have?

You might also want to check out Nuxt; it pairs really well with Firebase and offers great features for building your site.

Instead of switching frameworks right away, consider using a Docker container to compile your existing Angular app. It could save you some hassle!

That sounds interesting! But I think I'd still need to run 'npm install,' and that doesn't seem to work anymore.

Astro is an awesome option! It's lightweight and perfect for static sites with dynamic components.

Svelte is fantastic! It's super user-friendly and would be a fun framework to learn while keeping your components reusable.

Thanks for the suggestion! I've heard a lot about Svelte and it's definitely on my radar.
