Hey everyone! I'm using an Asus g74sx laptop and had a great experience gaming on Windows, like playing Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance on high settings. However, since switching to Linux Mint Cinnamon, I'm struggling to get games running smoothly even on the lowest settings with Lutris and Wine. I'm looking for recommendations for a better Linux distribution or tips on improving performance with Mint. Here are my specs:

- Intel Core i7 2670QM Processor
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M (3GB/2GB GDDR5 VRAM)
- 16GB RAM
- 200GB SSD

I'm pretty new to PCs in general, so any advice would really help!

You might want to check out Bodhi Linux 7.0 HWE. It's a lightweight distro that could provide a better gaming experience on your laptop. It offers a stable base which should help with running games more effectively.
