What Linux Distro Should I Choose for Gaming and Coding?

I'm really frustrated with Windows 11 after preferring Windows 10, and since support for Windows 10 is over, I'm considering a switch to Linux. I'm looking for a user-friendly distro that's good for gaming and coding. I've heard good things about Nobara OS and Zorin OS because they have a Windows-like interface, but I'm curious if there are other options worth exploring. I know that one of the advantages of Linux is the ability to try different distros easily, so I'd love to know what suggestions you all might have based on my setup:

- GPU: 1080 ti (planning to upgrade to a 50 series NVIDIA card or a 9000 series AMD card)
- CPU: Ryzen 7 7800x3d
- RAM: 32 gb DDR5
- Storage: 1 tb M2 SSD + 2 tb Hard drive (with plans for another 2 tb M2)

Any well-maintained distribution is a solid choice. The difference in gaming performance between distros like Ubuntu and Nobara is minimal, so focus on what desktop environment you prefer—Cinnamon, KDE, or Gnome are great options. Popular recommendations include Fedora and Linux Mint, which are both user-friendly.

Great point! It really comes down to personal preference. Trying out different distros through live sessions can help you find the best fit.
