I'm looking for recommendations on which Linux distribution to use for my simple laptop. It has 4GB of RAM and a Celeron processor, and I want something visually appealing like Arch with Hyprland. However, I'm struggling to install Arch myself. What distros would work best for my setup?

If installation is a blocker, what exactly is stopping you from installing Arch? There are easy options like Endeavour OS that come pre-configured with a tiling window manager if that's what you're into.

Have you considered building your own setup? It might take some time, but it can be rewarding and gives you total control over your system. Plus, you'll truly understand your OS that way!

You might want to try out Endeavour OS. Just a heads up though, if you use the offline installation image, it defaults to KDE, which might not perform well on your system. Cachy is also a decent option if you're looking for something lightweight.

If you're looking for something super lightweight, I’d recommend AntiX Linux or Q4OS Linux too. They run really well on low-spec machines!
