What MDM Solutions Should We Consider for Mixed Device Management?

Hey everyone! My workplace has decided to provide work phones to all employees, which adds up to around 160 devices. They want specific applications installed, such as an office suite and a VPN, but they suggested logging into a shared Google account to install everything one by one, which I'm totally against. I believe we really need a Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution to handle this effectively. We currently have ESET Elite, so we can lock and track devices and block certain programs, but we need something that allows us to push apps to these phones and wipe them if necessary. We're dealing with a mix of Android and iOS devices, and unfortunately, we can't use Intune right now. Any recommendations?

You might want to check out Miradore. It supports both iOS and Android devices, and while I haven't tested it on Android, it seems pretty solid for mixed OS environments.

If you end up going with a mix of devices, consider using SOTI. I've found that Intune can be a bit much if you're using any custom applications.

Consider using Workspace ONE. I manage around 150 Android tablets and a few iOS devices, and it works really well for our needs.

Mosyle is a great option for iPhones, and Google Workspace offers Android device management too. You might want to look into their Cloud Identity Premium license for a budget-friendly solution.

If you could manage to have an Apple-only fleet, Jamf is fantastic. It simplifies a lot of the management hassle and handles everything really well.
