I'm in the process of building a new PC and I've just ordered my first parts, including a Ryzen 9800X3D and a 5070Ti. Now, I'm on the hunt for the perfect monitor and I'm torn between options. I currently have a 32" Samsung Odyssey G3, which isn't bad but not fantastic either. Initially, I considered OLED options like the MSI MAG 321UPX QD-OLED and ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDP, but I'm worried about potential burn-in issues, especially since I spend about 2-3 hours gaming daily and also do some light photo and video editing.
I then looked into VA panel monitors, which don't have burn-in troubles. The Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 Gaming Monitor S32BG850NP seems like a decent option at around €700, while the Neo G9 Curved Gaming Monitor S49AG952NU is more like €1350. I'm not really into curved monitors, and I prefer something at least 32" for multitasking rather than having two screens.
With a budget of €1500, I'm seeking recommendations for a monitor to buy in 2025. If you were in my position, what would you choose?

I’ve got the PG27UCDM, and it’s been absolutely amazing! It's not an OLED, but performance-wise, it’s fantastic.
I think OLEDs are definitely prettier, but be wary of text legibility on larger displays. Just something to think about!
A friend just got the Asus OLED, and he's totally in love with it. I’ve got an old LG OLED TV at home, and it's holding up well after five years without any issues.
I’ve tried a 34" OLED, and let me tell you, it’s fantastic for gaming! Just keep in mind, it’s great but has its own quirks!
I absolutely love my 32" QD-OLED by Gigabyte! It was a game-changer for me. The clarity and colors are just stunning. Don't stress too much about burn-in. My model includes an AI pixel cleaning feature that kicks in automatically after you use it for a while to help prevent issues.
What steps do you take to minimize burn-in? I'm super interested in OLED, but I keep hearing scary stories about it.
What model do you have? Is it the Gigabyte Aorus FO32U2 or something different?
That's awesome! But have you faced any burn-in issues? What do you suggest to prevent that?
