What Parts Should I Buy for a Budget Gaming PC?

I'm working on a gaming PC for a school project which is super exciting, but I need some guidance on which parts to purchase. My budget is between $600 and $700, and I'm aiming to use the PC mainly for gaming but might do a little bit of editing as well. I'm looking to play games like modded COD Zombies, Minecraft, Terraria, Fortnite, and Warzone. Any recommendations for good budget components?

Check out this parts list, it’s pretty solid for your budget: [PCPartPicker List](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/w4vBpK)

Is there anything we can swap out for cheaper options to fit my budget a bit better?

Lol, sending a $1000 parts list when the budget is $600-700 is a bit wild!

For your budget, I've put together a parts list that should work well. It might be a bit limited on storage initially, but the good news is you can always upgrade it later. This setup will allow you to enjoy entry-level 1080p gaming at about 60 FPS. If you can, consider saving a bit more to get even better components, like those from the new AM5 or RX 9060 XT 16GB series! Thanks for the advice! I totally understand that upgrades will be necessary down the road, but for my first build, sticking to entry-level is fine for me.
