What Passcode Do I Need When My iPad Reboots?

I'm trying to reboot my iPad, but it's asking for a passcode that I can't seem to figure out. My Apple ID password isn't working, and the pin I normally use for things on the iPad isn't doing the trick either. I honestly don't remember what the third passcode could be. I'm down to my last attempt, and I'm feeling pretty frustrated! Anyone know what I'm supposed to do?

You're likely being asked for the device passcode, which is the one you set when you first set up the iPad. It won’t accept your Apple ID password or any other codes. I get why it’s confusing with so many different codes for one device!

Right? It’s kind of silly that there are three different passwords to manage. Glad you figured it out!
