What Passcode Does My iPad Ask for When It Reboots?

I'm having a tough time with my iPad. It keeps asking for a passcode when it reboots, but I can't figure out which one it wants. I've tried my Apple ID password, and that's not working. There's also this pin that I've set for certain things on the iPad, but that isn't accepted either. To make matters worse, I don't remember what a third passcode could be! I'm down to my last attempt, so I really need some help!

Oh, I feel you! I had the same issue. In the end, I realized it was my kid’s passcode that I couldn’t remember. It's crazy how many codes we have to keep track of these days!

It sounds like it's asking for the device passcode. Usually, that's the one you set up for unlocking your iPad. Just wondering, why would it ask for your Apple ID password or a Screen Time passcode? That seems a bit off!

I'm just as confused! It’s odd to have three different codes for one device, right?
