What PC parts should I choose for gaming on a budget?

I'm looking to build a gaming PC and want to know which parts I should get to ensure good FPS, especially for games like Genshin Impact and Valorant. My budget is between £700 and £1000. I already have my keyboard, mouse, and monitor covered, and I'm aiming for around 60 to 120 FPS, likely settling at 60 FPS. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

First off, it's great that you already have your peripherals sorted! For a solid gaming experience at 60 FPS, I recommend going with a decent mid-range CPU like the Ryzen 5 or Intel i5, paired with a good GPU like the GTX 1660 Super or an RX 5600 XT. Make sure you also get around 16GB of RAM, as that's pretty standard for gaming these days. Lastly, don't forget a quality PSU and a 500GB SSD to keep your load times quick!

That's a solid suggestion! Just make sure to check compatibility with your motherboard, and if you're planning to play more intensive games in the future, consider investing slightly more into your GPU.

Also, don’t forget about cooling! A good CPU cooler can make a big difference in your system's performance and longevity. Look into aftermarket options if your CPU doesn't come with a decent one.

If you're on a tighter budget, you might want to look for used or refurbished components. Sometimes, you can find great deals on parts that are still powerful enough for what you're looking to play. Just be careful when buying used things!
