Hey everyone! I'm looking for some advice on what to upgrade next in my gaming PC. I primarily play games like Rainbow Six Siege, Fortnite, and Hearts of Iron 4, and I also use DaVinci Resolve for video editing. I want to achieve smoother performance in both gaming and editing. Here are my current specs:

- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 5 3600X (6-core, 3.8 GHz)
- **GPU:** NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti (6 GB)
- **Motherboard:** Gigabyte B550 AORUS ELITE V2
- **RAM:** 32 GB (2133 MHz)
- **Storage:** 1.6 TB total
- **Monitor:** MSI Optix G241VC (1080p, 75Hz)
- **BIOS:** American Megatrends, version F8b, dated 14/11/2022
- **OS:** Windows 11 Home (64-bit)

What would you all recommend upgrading first to get the best results for both gaming and video editing?

I usually suggest upgrading the CPU, but yours is already pretty solid. I recommend prioritizing upgrades like this:
1. **RAM:** Your current speed is 2133MHz, which is pretty slow. Check if XMP is enabled. If it is, definitely grab some faster RAM, like 3200MHz CL16. It’s a cheap upgrade that’ll boost your CPU performance too.
2. **GPU:** The GTX 1660 Ti is decent, but you can get something much better nowadays for a good price. Something like a B580 for around $250 would give you solid performance.
3. **CPU:** If you ever want to change your CPU, aim for an AMD 5000 series XT or X3D model for the best upgrades.

Your setup is quite upgradeable, which should make it easier to enhance performance without breaking the bank!

Thanks for the tips! How can I check if XMP is turned on?
