I'm in the process of building my first gaming PC and so far I have a Deepcool CC360 white cabinet and an i5 14600k CPU. I have most of my parts sorted out, but I'm a bit confused about what RAM I should go with. Intel's website mentions a maximum of 5600Mhz support for this CPU, but I'm wondering if I can actually use RAM that supports 6000Mhz or higher. My motherboard is an Asrock B760 steel legend, and I currently have Kingston Fury Beast 5200Mhz (16x2) RAM in mind. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

You should definitely check the RAM speed each component supports, but you can likely run higher speeds with your setup. While Intel specifies 5600Mhz for the CPU, I've found that the i5 14600 can easily handle speeds like 6000Mhz or even beyond, depending on your motherboard. Just make sure your motherboard can support overclocking to the speed you want!

Thanks for the tip! I feel a lot better about trying for 6000Mhz now. I’ll make sure to check the XMP settings first.
