What should I consider when building a PC for playing BG3 and Minecraft?

I'm looking to build a new gaming PC since my current one is super old and keeps crashing whenever I play Baldur's Gate 3. I'm really into BG3, Minecraft, and Elder Scrolls, and I want a setup that can handle those games with amazing graphics. My budget is around $1500 to $2000, but I'm open to spending a bit more if it means getting significantly better performance. I also need a monitor and I'm in the USA. Planning to give my old PC to my sibling once I upgrade. Any recommendations?

Yeah, that's true about the prebuilts! But keep in mind that prices for components might change in the new year as supply issues for RAM are likely to arise. It’s worth checking prices regularly if you decide to build your own.

Prebuilt systems are actually a great option right now. You can find a solid rig with a 5070 Ti for around $1700 to $1900. This would definitely give you the performance you need for BG3 and Minecraft without breaking the bank.
