I recently bought a used laptop from an online seller, thinking it was new. They informed me it was a return within 14 days, but it surprisingly arrived without the power cable. I'm wondering if the seller is being dishonest about the return process. What options do I have here? Should I just keep the laptop as is, and can I use my old power cable instead, even though it's only the plug side that's different?

If your laptop supports it and you're using the right USB-C charger, you can just use any standard 100 watt block along with a compatible cable. I ended up ditching the original cable I got with mine, and it works just fine!
Since you got it through Amazon, the best move is to reach out to their customer service or the seller directly about the missing cable. They usually help with these kinds of issues pretty quickly.

How do I know if my old cable is compatible?
