Hey everyone! I'm fairly new to the world of PC gaming and recently got myself a gaming rig. However, I've quickly filled up my 1TB storage, so I'm looking into adding a second M.2 SSD. My current SSD has a motherboard heatsink, but there isn't one for the additional M.2 slot. I'm wondering if I need to buy a separate heatsink for the new drive, or if it's okay to skip that. Any advice would be super helpful! Thanks!

Just to clarify, your motherboard has another M.2 slot but it doesn’t include a heatsink? In that case, just look for an SSD that already comes with a heatsink. It saves you the trouble of buying one separately.
