I recently bought a 64 GB RAM kit from Patriot Memory through Newegg, but unfortunately, both sticks arrived dead on arrival (DOA). Now I'm in a tough spot because since I ordered them, the price has skyrocketed—it's now double what I paid. I'm wondering if I can get a full replacement without having to pay the new higher price, or if I'm going to end up having to shell out an extra $600 just to get the same RAM. Has anyone been in a similar situation or have advice on how to approach Newegg about this?

When you RMA for a replacement, you should usually get an exchange without issue. If you go for a refund, though, you might have to repurchase at whatever the current price is. It's definitely worth checking with Newegg first to see what your options are!
