I accidentally dropped my nearly 4-year-old Samsung A13 into a dog bowl of water but managed to retrieve it within about 5 seconds. I didn't notice any issues when I briefly used it afterward, but I powered it off right away. I dried it off and put it in rice for a short time before discovering that might not be the best method. Right now, it's sitting on my shoe rack above an air vent, face down and with the case removed. Is there anything else I should do to help it dry out?

I recommend taking it to a repair shop as soon as possible. Even if it seems fine now, any water inside could cause corrosion later. Don’t turn it back on until a professional checks it out!
If you have any data saved on an SD card, it would be a good idea to take it out and back it up while your phone dries. Better safe than sorry!
Try using those little silica gel packets you find in packaging. Put your phone in a zip-lock bag with several of those packets to help absorb moisture.

Just be aware that those packets might have lost their effectiveness by the time you get them, so check if they're still good!
