I've been using Claude and decided to upgrade to the Max version, but I never actually got the upgrade on my account. I've noticed a charge of over $80 on my credit card for this Max subscription, which hasn't been refunded either. It's been two weeks and I haven't heard back from support. I'm thinking about disputing the charge, but I'm worried that might lead to my account being deactivated. What should I do?

If you've already reached out and have been ignored for two weeks, I’d say go ahead and dispute the charge. You’re entitled to a refund for something you didn’t receive!
Make sure you're logged into the right account. If you're trying to access Max features, you might need to sign in with your Max credentials instead of your API account.
Honestly, just submit a support ticket. They should be able to resolve your issue pretty quickly if you give them a proper nudge.
First things first, double-check that you didn't accidentally create a separate account. Sometimes, when signing in with email, it’s easy to mix things up. Check if the email on your charge receipt matches the one you're using to log in.
I suggest reaching out on Discord too! Ask if they can either credit you for the two weeks or a full month since you’re being charged for something you can’t use.
