I recently received an EVGA Supernova 1300w G2 power supply as a gift from my math teacher, but unfortunately, it came without any cables. I'm looking for advice on where to find replacement cables for all the slots on my PSU. Any help would be appreciated!

It's super important to get the exact cables your PSU needs. Think of it like putting mismatched tires on a car; it might fit but could end up being unsafe or cause serious damage. Make sure to only get replacements made for your PSU model!

Exactly! That's a great way to explain it.

Check out EVGA's support page. They also mention that if any of the cables were used with a different PSU, make sure they're compatible to avoid any issues with your system.

If you're really struggling to find cables, you might consider selling the PSU and just investing in a new one. It could save you some hassle in the long run.

You can find custom cables sold pretty much anywhere online. Just be cautious – I suggest avoiding Amazon or eBay fully since you can't guarantee they're for your specific PSU. A quick Google search can help you find reputable retailers.

But all the custom cables I've found are super pricey, around $34-$48 each! That's way out of my budget.

First things first, you need to find the exact model of your PSU, ideally with the serial number. This is crucial because it helps you to look for compatible cables. You can usually order replacement cables directly from EVGA's website or check out a local computer parts store like Microcenter for options.

But how does the serial number help with getting the right cables? Where can I exactly buy those replacements?

What about compatibility? I heard mixing cables from different PSUs can be risky.
